DAY 1 TOUR START

Our guide will welcome you with love at our departure point from the designated places for the Magnificent Western Black Sea Tour departing from Rize, Trabzon and Giresun. We depart from under the Tea Cup in Rize Central Tea Bazaar at 21:00, from Trabzon Bus Terminal at 22:30, and from Giresun Bus Terminal at 24:00, picking up our last guests.

 

 

 

DAY 2 KASTAMONU

We reach Kastamonu at the first light of the morning and end our tour by saying vira bismillah 😊. Located in a geography surrounded by Ilgaz Mountain, Kastamonu is an important historical province due to the fact that it has hosted many civilizations throughout history, from the Hittites to the Ottomans.

 

We start our visit with the Nasrullah Mosque, where Mehmet Akif Ersoy, who traveled around Anatolia during the years of the War of Independence and gathered support for the War of Independence, gave sermons in support of the War of Independence and read our National Anthem for the first time before it was accepted in the Turkish Grand National Assembly. After seeing Nasrullah square and bridge, we visit the Sheikh Shaban-i Veli complex. The taste of the tea we will sip in the shadow of the Government Mansion and the Clock Tower, one of the most important symbols of the city behind it, whose story you will be surprised by, will be integrated with the unique view of Kastamonu.

 

We visit the archeology museum and the museums in the Mimar Vedat Tek culture and art center. We see the Şerife Bacı monument, symbolizing the heroism of the Turkish woman in the War of Independence, and take a panoramic tour of Kastamonu Castle. We continue our Kastamonu tour, which is of great importance for the Turkish nation both religiously and historically, with the Liva Pasha Ethnography Museum. After visiting this wonderful museum with pleasure, we will see the historical Kastamonu houses, which contain structures from the Seljuk, Candaroğulları and Ottoman periods, sip our tea and shop for souvenirs in the Münire Madrasa handicrafts bazaar. We visit the İsmail Bey Complex and İbn-i Neccar Mosque, one of the oldest historical ruins of Kastamonu.

 

Once again, we get into our vehicles and head to Safranbolu, feeling pleasantly tired.

 

 

 

DAY 3 SAFRANBOLU

We will be able to see beautiful examples of traditional Ottoman architecture in the museum city Safranbolu, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage list. First in the 18-19th century. We are going to the Kaymakamlar Mansion, which will attract you and reflect the history, culture and lifestyle of the Turkish society.

 

As we move towards the city center through the cobblestone streets, where we will see the traces of Safranbolu's history, we will see the bazaars of blacksmiths, saddle makers, drapers and coppersmiths.

 

 

 

Izzet Mehmet Pasha, who was the grand vizier during the reign of Selim III, had a small model of the Istanbul Nuruosmaniye Mosque built in the district where he was born. After visiting the mosque, which is made entirely of cut stone, we see the Historical Cinci Inn, which is used as a hotel today. During our walk in the historical bazaar, after seeing the 400-year-old Mehmet Pasha Mosque with Bridge and the sundial in its garden, we move on to the Yemeni markets. Here, we visit the Turkish Delight Museum, where we can have a nice coffee break, taste the Turkish delights that are as famous as Safranbolu's houses, and shop. Then, we visit the Chocolate Museum, where we can both visit and shop, where there are chocolate samples from historical places in Safranbolu.

 

 

 

We are going to Yörük Village, which is the Bektaşi village, one of the oldest villages in the region. We wander around the village and visit the Sipahioğlu travel house. At the Yörük village house, Filiz Abla, the famous phenomenon of Safranbolu, will tell us about the Yörük culture and the Yörük village in her own way. We take our tea and coffee break at the village cafe and leave the Yörük Village, engraving the pleasant moments in our memories.

 

We continue our program by taking fun pictures upside down in the upside-down mansion furnished with nostalgic household items built in accordance with Safranbolu architecture.

 

 

 

We will watch the exquisite view and breathe in the nature at Turkey's first glass observation deck built on Tokatlı canyon. We leave after taking our pictures.

 

 

 

We go to Hıdırlık Hill, where the first Turks who came to Safranbolu were stationed and held Hıdırellez celebrations with prayers for rain. Here we take pictures of the beautiful Safranbolu view and continue on our way. We will come here and see the fields of saffron, the medicinal plant from which the district takes its name.

 

 

 

DAY 4 AMASRA

After having breakfast at the hotel in the morning, Amasra, one of the most beautiful resort towns of the Black Sea; It has unique beauties, taking its name from an Amazon queen according to mythology and a Persian princess according to historical narrative. While wandering around the streets of the city surrounded by walls that still maintain their magnificence; bridge connecting a small island to the mainlandWe will see the legend, the Sorma entrance gate, dungeons, and Genoese reliefs. We stop by the Tow Trucks Bazaar, which is a historical bazaar where handcrafted souvenirs unique to this region are sold. We will see rare products of wood craftsmanship in this bazaar. The art of attraction is still continued in Amasra Villages today.

 

 

 

After seeing Amasra Castle and Genoa Castle, we visit the Amasra Museum, which was used as a harmonica school during the Ottoman period after the Imperial Navy.

 

 

 

We visit Fatih Mosque, a Byzantine church built in Amasra Castle in the 9th century and converted into a mosque after the conquest by Fatih Sultan Mehmet. We go up to Bakacak Hill, the viewing point that reveals all the historical and natural beauties of Amasra. We breathe in history and nature once again while sipping our tea and coffee on Bakacak Hill, the place where Mehmet the Conqueror called his Lala "çeşm-i cihan buram ola?" (The apple of the world's eye). We are going to the Amasra museum to see the historical artifacts that are evidence of Amasra's history of more than three thousand years. After going down to the beach and visiting the large and small harbour, we see the rock with poles built by the Genoese to illuminate and monitor the sea and end our Amasra tour with a delicious boat tour.

 

 

 

DAY 5 SINOP

Now we are going to the northernmost point of Turkey, where the famous philosopher Roman Diogenes was born, and the city where the happiest people of our country live, according to TUIK research. So much so that it is the only province in Turkey that does not have traffic lights. It will fascinate us with its delightful nature and rich historical past.

 

 

 

We are going to Hamsilos nature park, the paradise bay of Sinop, which has the fjord and Ria coastal type after Norway. After our tour where we will see magnificent bays and fjords where the sea intertwines with the land, İnce Burun Lighthouse, located at the northernmost tip of Turkey, will give us the opportunity to take beautiful pictures. After visiting the three-hundred-year-old Sinop Castle, we visit the small but very impressive Sinop Museum in our city, where the oldest museum activities in our country began. We are going to the historical Sinop prison, which is the guest of poems and folk songs. The prison, which was positioned against the sea to prevent prisoners from escaping, was closed in 1999 and opened as a museum in 2000. We visit the museum-prison, where the memories of many famous people such as Sabahattin Ali, Burhan Felek, Ruhi Su are located.

 

 

 

We visit the Alaattin mosque, the largest Seljuk mosque in Northern Anatolia. We shop for souvenirs in the 760-year-old historical Pervane Madrasa, which was built for the Alaattin Mosque complex and currently serves as a handicrafts bazaar. We go up to Şahin Hill and take a tea break to see the view of Sinop, which we have seen on postcards for years, depicting the waist thinned by the sea from both sides, and to picture Sinop from a bird's eye view. While sipping our tea in this exquisite view, we understand why Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said, "What would happen if half the beauty of Sinop was in Ankara?"

 

 

 

We stop by the White Harbor, which we would not miss seeing, and take some sweet peace and take our photos. We enjoy a coffee at the seaside cafes inside the port and continue on our way.

 

 

 

We go to Erfelek waterfalls, which consist of 28 waterfalls in the deep valley where two forests come together in the Erfelek district of Sinop city. You won't want to leave this experience, where you will be accompanied by perfect bird sounds as you get lost in green and blue.

 

 

 

We make our final preparations for our return journey and move to Giresun Trabzon Rize.
