AYDER PLATEAU ŞENYUVA ZİLKALE TOUR

In our Ayder Tour program from Rize that we have prepared for you, our valued guests; You will visit Ayder Plateau and its surroundings, which is one of the first places that come to mind when it comes to plateaus in Turkey.

Ayder Plateau has also become the most popular tourism center of the Black Sea and Rize with its panacea hot springs and rich flora diversity. We welcome you with our professional team and latest model vehicles waiting for you in Rize Center and after a brief information about the tour, we depart for the Daily Ayder Tour at 09:00.

Our tour route; The Ayder Tour starts after passing through the city centers of Rize Gündoğdu (Askoroz), Çayeli (Mapavri), Pazar (Athens) and picking up the last participants from the famous Atmaca Statue at the entrance of Fırtına Creek. The Ezgi Turizm representative in the vehicle will inform you about the region and its culture along the way. From the moment we enter Fırtına Valley, a wonderful atmosphere greets us. As we glide along the road among the thousand-toned landscape of green, the 300-400-year-old Rize Mansions greet us. It is impossible not to be fascinated by the Ottoman Era Stone Arch Bridges that adorn the Fırtına Creek like a bracelet, combined with the Rize Mansions. That's why most of the TV series and movies made in the Black Sea region in recent years have been shot in Fırtına Valley.

In order not to tire you, our guests, we take a break at a facility located at the zero point of Fırtına Creek, an hour after the start of our Ayder Tour. We meet your needs in this facility, we will provide breakfast for those who do not have breakfast, and we will give you time for the Zipline Activity called "goose flies but laz don't fly". Approximately 40 Min. After the break, Ayder Tour continues. On our way, Çamlıhemşin District, the most special district of Rize without a coastline, welcomes us. 90% of the Rize photos you see on social media are taken in this region. After a short break, we enter and exit this small tourism district, whose buildings are all built with Rize Architecture. Yes, we enter the Çat Valley, which is the subject of folk songs.

Many folk songs such as "Akar Hemşin Stream Becomes a Lake for Çat Düzün, When the Older One Gets Married, It Becomes a Path for the Younger One" were written here. You will also see Hemsin and Laz culture in this valley. After passing Yolkıyı Village and Ortan Village, we reach Şenyuva Village. Şenyuva, formerly known as Çinçiva, is one of the most famous villages of the region. Most recently, the Sevdaluk TV series starring Erdal Özyağcılar and Demet Akbağ was shot here. While sipping our tea at Çinçiva Café, the wonderful view of the Stream and Bridge will impress you greatly. The one-eyed Şenyuva Bridge, built in 1696, will welcome you with all its glory on the first day. Sevdaluk Pension and Sevdaluk tree are among the other places you will see…

After a break of approximately 45 minutes, we proceed to see Zilkale. Before arriving at Zilkale, we stop our vehicle at the point where the castle looks most beautiful from the opposite terrace and photograph the Historical Zilkale. Our location is 750 meters above sea level. It is located on the slopes of the valley, 100 meters above the Zilkale stream. It was built by the Emperors of the Byzantine Komnenos Dynasty, who lived in this region in the 13th century. It was used by the Genoese, Greeks and Ottomans until the end of the 1800s. Located on the Silk Road, Zilkale is a unique castle in terms of its location and architecture. Zilkale, which is visited by approximately 400 thousand people a year, was chosen as the most magnificent castle of our country by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Leaving Çat Valley, we come back to Çamlıhemşin and continue along Hala Creek to Ayder Plateau.

Ayder Plateau, famous for its rich flora and fauna and its panacea hot springs, is the most famous plateau in Turkey and has become the most preferred tourism destination in the region. Located at an altitude of 1350 meters, Ayder Plateau is located at the starting point of the Kaçkar Mountains climbing. We take our guests to Gelintülü Waterfall with our vehicles. Gelintülü Waterfall, which is 1350 meters long and is called by this name because it resembles a bridal veil in appearance, is among the longest waterfalls in Turkey. Walking together from top to bottom, passing through the plateau, we come to the Horon plain. Here we are greeted by horon rings playing with enthusiasm. After our Ayder tour, which ends around 17:00, we head back to Rize and drop our guests off at the points we picked up.
