We welcome you with our friendly staff waiting in front of Rize Meydan Şeyh Mosque at 09:00. We are departing for Borçka Karagöl, Muratlı Dam and Çoruh Zipline Tour. Following the Black Sea Coastal Road, gliding between Green and Blue, accompanied by magnificent views; Çayeli (Mapavri), Pazar (Atina), Ardeşen (Ardışen), Fındıklı (Viçe) in Rize; We are moving towards Artvin from the district centers of Arhavi (Arkabi) and Hopa (Hupati) of Artvin.

We also pick up our guests who will join the Karagöl Tour on the way. Passing through the Cankurtaran Tunnel: While following the Hopa-Borçka road, we will pass through the Cankurtaran Tunnel, which makes it easier for us to overcome the steep roads. The newly opened 5228 meter long Cankurtaran Tunnel, which connects the Black Sea to Iran via Erzurum; It makes our journey much easier. When we arrive at Borcka town center, we take a rest and lunch break at the Petrol Station located by the Çoruh River.

Arrival at Muratlı Dam Sunken Village (Karşı Village), which is the first point of our tour: After moving from Borçka City center, we will arrive at Karşıköy Village, Muratlı Dam Lake, which is the first stop of our Karagöl Tour. The Mosque Minaret and Factory Chimney above the lake attract the attention of local and foreign guests. Our friends will give you information about the region during the 20-30 minute photo break at Muratlı Dam. Now we leave Muratlı and start climbing by following the Borçka-Camili (Machael) road to reach Karagöl.

Continuing through chestnut, hornbeam, walnut and spruce trees, partly on asphalt roads and partly on cobblestone roads, we reach Karagöl, one of the most untouched natural beauties of our country, with its heavenly green fragrant forests, lush green texture, rich wildlife and plant diversity. Arrival at Borcka Karagöl: Now is Romanticism and its time....

Karagöl is within the borders of Borcka district of Artvin. It was formed in the early 1800s when soil and rocks slid from a hill near the Klaskur Plateau, blocking the Aralik (Klaskur) stream. As the alluviums flowing down the stream filled the lake, its depth decreased from 30 meters to 8-10 meters. Karagöl is located at an altitude of 1450 meters above sea level. It is located on a land of 50 thousand square meters, and since there is no construction around the lake, it has preserved its virginity. It has fascinated local and foreign tourists who come to the region. Especially in autumn, the colors of the tree leaves form a riot of colors, creating a magnificent view. One of the most beautiful moments of the Karagöl Tour will be walking on the paths around the lake.

Çoruh Zipline-Borçka Dam On the way back, we head towards Artvin from Borcka District Center. Afterwards, we go to Borçka Dam Lake, which is Artvin's 3rd largest dam and Turkey's 65th largest dam. Borcka Dam provides electricity for 273,542 households in Turkey. We stop by the Çoruh Zipline facility, which has the longest track in Turkey, for the Zipline activity where you can fly across Borcka Dam, 8 Kms from Artvin City Center. Here you will be able to do both Zipline and Motorized Swing activities. We finish our Karagöl Tour here around 17:00 and head on back.
